Our ethos is to create spaces that foster genuine connection and comfort. Located in the pristine Natal Midlands, each lodge has a beautiful view of either a dam, a river or the rolling hills that the midlands are known for. Designed with comfort in mind, each lodge has a fully-equipped kitchen, a wood-stove fireplace and braai facilities.

Our logo is inspired by the rings of a tree and a human fingerprint, sharing a uniquely similar look. Humans have always been deeply connected to nature, and we hope that our lodges will serve as a retreat that allows people to reconnect with nature, their loved ones and themselves.

Serene and wild, Tweefontein Nature Reserve offers a sanctuary to both humans and animals alike. Come and experience the fishing, birding, trails and more that this unique haven has to offer.

ruby lodge

The main house with four en-suite bedrooms offers privacy as well as spacious living areas. The deck overlooks the dam with a walkway that leads onto the jetty. Two closed-in verandas allow for cosy comfort with a view. Optional game drives take place twice a day (booking is essential).

Capacity: Sleeps eight, with the option to sleep up to four children in the loft. Four en-suite rooms, that can be made up as either one king-sized or two single bed.

An ideal family getaway, with two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor and two more dormitory-style rooms on the first floor. A spacious kitchen and entertainment area lend themselves to family meals and quality time. With stunning views over the river, a closed-in deck and an open-plan living area, this home makes you want to exhale as you walk in. Well-marked cycling and running trails are available and can be enjoyed at your leisure. There is also a generous lawn in front of the house where children (in age and spirit) can play freely.
